I once was a big and happy woman who lived a life full of love surrounded by good friends and loved ones.  As a chef of 8 years, I enjoyed all that food had to offer without thought of what it was doing to me.  Then one day I was reading a magazine article that challenged people to lose weight.  In that competition the person who lost the most weight won a trip to the Bahamas.  I figured why not lose a few pounds and win a trip at the same time.  Starting out, I really didn’t do this for health or mobility.  I did it to win a prize.  Low and behold, I committed myself to losing the most weight and I did it by creating specialized meals.  I spent days reading and researching proper nutrition for the human body.  Then, I designed all of these great tasting foods from that knowledge.  Each meal brought me one step closer to winning my trip to the Bahamas.  By the end of the competition this 332 lbs. woman weighed in at 302 lbs. after only 12 weeks.  This amazing accomplishment not only won me the trip but also won me a new lease on life.  I was more energized and felt more alive than ever.  I decided that I did not want this to end.  So I traded in the trip to the Bahamas for free workout classes and buckled down on creating even more delicious, nutritious meals.  Before long I started getting requests from people to make food for them.  Seeing the changes my food has had in mine and other people’s lives has motivated me to bring these meals to everyone.  Hence, the Fitness Chefs delivering meals, information, and support for all those who wish to reinvent themselves.  “I am my own dream.”
